OUTERWEAR:
Your Rojo Outerwear garment has been coated with a DuPont Teflon fabric protector to repel water and oil-based spills.
To maintain the effectiveness of this coating, and waterproof properties, it is recommended that you follow the recommended care instructions for your outerwear.
Turn your outerwear garment inside out, and remove any fur trims where possible. Check your pockets for tissues, then wash on a gentle cycle, in warm water, with a small amount of detergent, and rinse well.
Dry inside out in the shade.
It is recommended that you do not dry clean, tumble dry, iron, or bleach your outerwear garment.
With a little love your Rojo outerwear will bring you pleasure for many years to come.

KNITTED HEADWEAR
:
To maintain the look and soft feel of your Rojo knitted headwear, it is recommended that you follow our care instructions when it comes time to wash your headwear.
We advise that you hand wash your headwear in warm water, with a wool wash. It is never a good idea to use bleach around wool products.
After washing, ease the headwear back into shape, and then dry flat in the shade. Do not hand ring your headwear as this will stretch it out of shape. When dry you can use a warm iron to smooth out any irregularities.
Your headwear will now spring back into shape and bring happiness to your head for many years.

FLEECE HEADWEAR
:
To maintain the look and soft feel of your Rojo fleece headwear, it is recommended that you follow our care instructions when it comes time to wash your headwear.
We advise that you hand wash your headwear separately in warm water, and keep it away from bleach.
After washing, line dry in the shade.
We recommend that you do not tumble dry or iron your headwear, but it can be dry cleaned.
Your headwear will now spring back into shape and feel as soft and fluffy as the day you bought it.

FUR HEADWEAR
:
To maintain the luxurious look and feel of your Rojo fur headwear, it is recommended that you follow our care instructions when it comes time to wash your headwear or scarf.
We advise that you hand wash your headwear separately in warm water, and keep it away from bleach.
After washing, line dry in the shade.
We recommend that you do not tumble dry or iron your headwear, but it can be dry-cleaned.
When dry, your fur will spring back into shape and feel as soft and fluffy as the day you bought it.

MIDLAYER
:
Your Rojo midlayer garment is made from anti-pill microfleece, and is designed to wick moisture away from your body and dry quickly. In order to maintain the optimal performance from your microfleece, we recommend that you follow our care instructions.
Your microfleece garment can be machine washed separately in warm water, and then tumble dried on low heat. We advise you to turn it inside out before washing and drying. We do not recommend the use of fabric conditioners, as they will coat the fleece and inhibit moisture wicking. Do not use bleach and do not iron the microfleece. When your garment has dried it will return to its original shape and will feel as fluffy and warm as the first time you put it on.

MERINO:
Your Rojo baselayer garment is made of a merino wool blend, and to ensure a long life of keeping you warm, it is recommended that you follow our care instructions.
Warm machine wash, on a gentle cycle, and tumble dry on low heat or dry flat in the shade. We recommend you do not use fabric softeners, because they coat the merino wool fibres and reduce the fibres' ability to naturally manage moisture and regulate your body temperature. We also advise to keep you Rojo merino products away from bleach. But, if you must bleach, we recommend the use of non-chlorine bleach as chlorine will destroy the wool fibres.
Merino contains many odour resistant properties, so your Rojo thermals should spend more time keeping you snug than sitting in the washing basket!

SOCKS:
Your Rojo socks are made from a wool and elastin blend, to give you the best balance between warmth and a snug comfortable fit. With a bit of care your socks will keep your toes warm for season after season.
Your socks are machine washable with cool or warm water, and can be tumble dried on low heat. To lengthen the life of your socks, it’s best to turn them inside out before throwing them in the washing machine. We recommend you do not use fabric softeners, because they coat the wool fibres and reduce the fibres' ability to naturally manage moisture and regulate your body temperature. We also recommend you do not use bleach. But, if you must bleach, use a non-chlorine bleach as chlorine will destroy the wool fibres.
We also recommend that you put them on as soon as you get them out of the dryer, when they are still warm!

GOGGLES:
To get the most out of your Rojo goggles, it is recommended that you follow our care instructions:
To clean your Rojo goggle lenses only use water and a mild soap and use the cleaning cloth provided. Do not use cleaning solutions. The use of ski gloves, paper towels or any other abrasive materials can cause lens scratching and the removal of lens coatings.
Use the goggle bag or a soft cotton cloth to remove excess water. Never rub the inner lens surface when wet.
Leaving your ski goggles exposed to high temperatures and sunlight can damage the goggle.
Ensure your goggles are completely dry before placing in storage and always protect your goggles by storing and transporting them in the protective case or goggle pouch.
Care for them, and they will give you years of faithful, fog-free service!

BOOTS
:
To maintain the look and performance of your Rojo boots, it is recommended that you follow our care instructions. Your boots are waterproof and breathable, but after use they should be carefully dried. Keep away from direct heat, and never tumble dry, as the heat will damage the sole of the boot.
If your boots become dirty, wipe the affected area clean with a cloth and warm soapy water.
Once clean and dry, put them back on, then go outside and leave your footprints in the snow.

GLOVES:
- Leather Gloves:
Your Rojo leather gloves are made from the finest goat leather, and with a little bit of care will stay soft and waterproof for many years.
Leather gloves should not be washed, either by hand or in a machine. This will cause the leather will dry out and lose its waterproof properties.
Instead, maintain the life of your leather gloves by carefully drying them after each use, and re-applying a leather balm every 30 days or so.
When drying, they should be kept away from direct heat. Do not tumble dry, and do not leave on top of a fire or heater!
You can find leather treatment products at your nearest ski or outdoor store. We recommend Nikwax leather treatment wax, to keep your leather luxuriously soft and supple.
- Nylon Gloves:
Your Rojo gloves are made with the same fabrics that we use in our outerwear, and with a little bit of care will retain their waterproofing for many years.
Your gloves should not be washed, either by hand or in a machine. This will damage the waterproof coating and the gloves will lose their water resistance.
Instead, maintain the life of your gloves by carefully drying them after each use away from direct heat. Do not tumble dry, and do not leave on top of a fire or heater, as they will melt, and this will make you sad!

HELMETS:
Your Rojo helmet is possibly the most important piece of safety equipment you will own, and if you look after it, it will take care of your greatest asset for many years.
If you need to clean your helmet, use a soft cloth or sponge with warm water and mild soap. Helmets are made of materials that can be damaged by many commonly available cleaners. Petroleum based solvents or cleaners are especially harmful. They can damage a helmet so that its protective capabilities are significantly reduced. Many times this damage is not visible.
You should check your helmet regularly for visible damage, especially after an impact. Remove the padding from the inside of the helmet, and inspect the foam for any sign of cracking. Should you find damage to the helmet, it is time to replace it.
Store carefully away from heat and sharp objects when not using, so that when winter rolls around again, you will be ready to get out there on the slopes, safely and in style.
